My name is Andreas I'm a Swedish kid born in 1994 with an interest in art, music, games and movies. I will most likely only put up my thoughts about Games and Movies here. The reason why I started making reviews is simple, inspiration. One time I saw some of AVGN's (angry video game nerd) first episodes on a community. I liked his reviews, I got information about the games and it was very funny to watch since he got so angry! I subscribed to him on YouTube but he later uploaded his episodes on Screwattack's Gametrailers page. And that's when i started to watch video game vaults with studdering craig. I became obsessed with reviews, I loved them! Since I was born in '94 I had never seen these retro games, it was a whole new world for me!
And later on I got introduced to Nostalgia Critic, In a videos by AVGN he talked about NC being mad because people think his a rip off. At fist he sounded like a total jerk, but I went to his website and found that wow he is awesome! And so I started to watch more people on his website, Spoony, the Game heroes. And I still like all these reviewers, they make such a good job. And so I began to write my own reviews. I posted them here and there on websites, but never cared if people actually read them or if they liked it. I just loved making reviews.
I'm also very interested in general tech stuff like, making websites or video editing. Hopefully I'll get time to write about that here as well!
I hope you enjoy my work, and if not, try to give me positive feedback because I know I'm not great but I won't learn if people never tell me what I'm doing wrong!
Why "theRapist?"
Let me start this off with; Your suppose to pronounce it "The Rapist" as in two different words, but I usually spell it like "theRapist".
The reason why i chose this awkward name is because, sometime when I wanted a "business e-mail" and I wanted something a little bit more professional than @msn or @yahoo. So I looked up a wbeiste where you could choose between like 100+ domains for free! There where names like @popstar.com and @homosexual.com (why would you even want that as an E-mail?!) buy anyways i missread therapist as in the rapist. And I thought it would be funny to have an email address saying "andreas@The Rapist.net"
And i didn't realize that it was therapist and not the rapist unil much later. But I just said screw it and just went with it, so it has nothing to do with raping people, or being a therapist it's just a name or nickname. Feel free to just call me Andreas if you want.
